We are currently recruiting female athletes ages 18+ who are interested in playing tackle football. No experience is necessary, but athletic ability, passion for competing, and a team first mentality most definitely are.
Team Fees
Our philosophy on team fees is that our players should not be “distracted” by a financial burden to play the sport that they love. We will expect our players to participate in our fundraising events and to achieve the goals we set out for all of our players. These goals are consistent with other teams in the league and include: having one sponsor/banner sale, selling three replica jerseys, and selling six tickets to each home game.
In addition, we may run other fundraising events throughout the season, as needed, and will expect all players to participate. If players fulfill their obligations with the fundraising requirements above, there will not be any player fees to play on the Jersey Shore Wave.
We are also considering ways to create financial incentives for our players so they are able to make some money during the season, and throughout the offseason as well, as part of our team. We will be providing a revenue sharing opportunity for any fundraising above the requirements outlined above. More details to be shared with athletes who commit to play for our team.
Travel Players
We are open to having travel players on our team, but will need to align on who is responsible for what costs associated with travel for practices and games. Once we are able to confirm the number of travel players we have on our roster, we will work with the travel players to find suitable housing accommodations for them during the season and for practices.
Travel players will be responsible for their participation on the team inclusive of practices, games, and community events. The only way to build a winning team and to contribute to our community is to participate, as a team, in practices to be prepared for regular season games. While each individual’s circumstances are unique, Coach will work with travel players to determine an appropriate schedule that allows for the team to practice and play effectively.

We are currently looking for sports creatives and social media managers to support our team during the offseason, and in-season. From capturing games to behind the scenes footage to engaging with our fans online, we are looking for creatives ages 16+ interested in the exciting world of women's tackle football.
Experience is necessary, but those without experience who are interested in gaining experience working with the Jersey Shore Football in a creative volunteer capacity are encouraged to apply.

An extensive coaching resume is not necessary, but prior athlete and coaching experience, passion for teaching, and a team first mentality most definitely are. Women are encouraged to apply.
